The ModelArchive developers, along with other SIB groups and collaborators, have just published an update to the ModelCIF data format. This format is used by the archive, as well as other modelling services and repositories.

There are around a billion cases of seasonal influenza (flu) annually, including 3–5 million cases of severe illness. The WHO uses real-time tracking of influenza lineage evolution by Nextstrain to make recommendations.
