ELIXIR Core Data Resources (CDRs) are European data resources judged to be of fundamental importance to the wider life-science community and the long-term preservation of biological data. SIB is proud to announce that Bgee, OMA and OrthoDB, have been selected as CDRs!

There are around a billion cases of seasonal influenza (flu) annually, including 3–5 million cases of severe illness. The WHO uses real-time tracking of influenza lineage evolution by Nextstrain to make recommendations.
