HAMAP: Acinetobacter sp. (strain ADP1) complete proteome

General information

Species:  Acinetobacter sp. (strain ADP1)
Species code: ACIAD
Taxonomy: Bacteria; Proteobacteria; Gammaproteobacteria; Pseudomonadales; Moraxellaceae; Acinetobacter (TaxID: 62977) [NEWT/ NCBI]
Description: Gram-negative, nutritionally versatile chemoheterotroph soil bacterium. Species of Acinetobacter are known to be involved in biodegradation of a number of different pollutants and in the production of economically valuable products. The strain ADP1 is exceptionally competent for natural transformation and grows rapidly, therefore making it a good system to recover genes with biodegradative functions from other microorganisms.
Properties: Presence of flagella: No
Interaction: No
Number of membranes: 2
Number of inteins:0
Statistics: Number of ACIAD entries in the UniProt Knowledgebase: 3293 (428 in UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot + 2865 in UniProtKB/TrEMBL)
